Southern Medical Products Ltd was established in 1980 by employees of Kempthorne Prosser Ltd. At the time KP was a leading supplier to the Health and Agricultural sectors. KP was established in NZ in the late 1800’s so Southern Medical Products inherited a well established pedigree to follow.

The company is located in Dunedin, Otago to service the needs of Medical, Veterinary and Allied health professionals in mainly the South Island of New Zealand, although we do seek business from all over New Zealand

The Southern Medical Products distribution warehouse is designed to store all products in accordance with the manufacturer’s storage specifications, with sufficient stock holdings in the warehouse to guarantee supply of all your needs. Strict stock control is maintained to ensure fast and accurate order fulfillment of well over 10,000 lines.

We have built a reputation on customer satisfaction through fast and reliable service, by providing delivery to local customers on a same day service and all other South Island customers within a 24-hour time frame.
